Psychological evaluation involves clinical interviews, structured test and questionnaires. Information will be gathered from the parents/guardians, the child, and possibly teachers and other adults closely involved with the child’s life. This usually takes and hour to an hour and a half in the office. Once all the information is gathered a diagnosis can be made. Along with the parents and child a plan of care can be made.
